Rarity Bands
Dumplings are pulled from boxes in rarity bands. The higher the band, the rarer the pull and the higher the typical value.

Mutations (3.5x)
A mutated dumpling shows a special glow. By community consensus a mutated squishy is worth about 3.5x its base value β the single biggest value multiplier in the game.
Mutated squishies are valued at x3.5 the base value throughout this site. This is a community estimate, not an official pricing rule.
Mutations matter most on high-rarity dumplings: a mutated Cupid Dumpling is worth roughly 3,850 vs 1,100 base. Check any mutated item in the Mutation Value Calculator or Trade Value Calculator.
Variants
Some dumplings also come in cosmetic variants β Galaxy, Glitter, Colour. Variants change appearance but do not change the base value judgment on their own; demand can still shift for popular looks.
